Technicalllllllllly it’s correct because Onew’s name in Hangul is 온유 or - On-yu. But the way you say it, however, puts more emphasis on the nyu rather than the O, so it would sound kinda funny.
Pretty sure the character ᅩ sounds much more like the o in “ocean” than the o in “on.” A more accurate pun would be a play on “Own you” and “Onew” if you ask me.
